I used it a long time ago, and it made my hair soft and manageable when I was transitioning. If you use it without heat, you will see the results in about 6 months (depending on hair texture and thickness). If you use heat, you'll see results in half the time. I stopped using it because I wanted to explore other products.

I saw this product in the companies catalogue, while I was transitioning. Never gave it a try, but it does look interesting.

Is there a cow on the front of the container? I am always a little fearful of animals on products. But the ingredients look okay except for the Diazolidinyl Urea. It can cause contact dermatitis or an allergic reaction, because it is a formaldehyde releasing preservative. However, there are other natural relaxers you can try such as the coconut cream natural relaxer...which is a combination of coconut cream and plain yogurt. There are a few youtube videos on it. Also Baka Beautiful's Naturalaxer is also an alternative, it contains Sahara Clay and there is actually a thread on the forum about it from last week.

I can't believe that Gold Medal products still exist. I remember when I was little, my great-grandmother used to get catalogs from them. They've been around a long time.
