Protein sensitive and hairloss

Could hairloss and protein sensitivity be related to each other?

I am asking this because I´m experiencing a lot of hairloss recently and my low porosity hair looks really suffocated (waxy, reaching out for moisture), although I used a clarifying poo recently. But before that I have used a lot of products with different kinds of protein in them. And every time I used them I got more hairloss. At first I thought I might be sensitive for polyquats, but I watched my hair closely after using different kinds of product ingredients and it´s always trouble after using any kind of protein, except for hydrolysed silk. That seems to be the only protein I can tolerate.

What do you mean by hair loss, breakage or shedding at the roots? Were you putting the protein on the scalp? Are there any waxes in your products or do you just have waxy sebum?
