Conditioner - less is best

I've been trying CG ( modified ) for 4 mths with varying results, here's what I've learned so far:

My hair hates silicone and protein and anything that causes build up even conditioner can be bad for my hair. My best curls have been achieved with just shampoo.

I am still at a loss when it comes to understanding my hair but knowing that on a good day I can get soft bouncy spiral curls is enough to spur me on especially as I thought they'd gone forever.

Anyone else having problems with condish?

I don't know if I'm having a prob with my conditioner or changing styling products, but lately I haveb't been able to replicate my curls that well. Could also be due to the fact that it has been raining here.

Anyway, your quote says it best... I'm going to keep on keeping on!
3B with some 3a. Fell off but am now back on the CG bandwagon and looking for my HG products.

I keep reading about how the weather affects hair.

Here in the uk it gets cold and wet but it never changes how my hair behaves (except when I get caught in the rain and I get ringlets).

If it's humid there most of the time it won't change much. Probably some either notice the change more or their hair just absorbs water more.
It's humid where I am 99% of the year so I rarely notice a change. I get about oh three weeks max out of the year if you count all the days together where it's lower humidity 60% or less. Usually it's real high here.

I've been thinking now that it's warmer I'm using too much conditioner. It's a fine line between not enough and too much at least in my hair anyway
    2c/3a?
    Low porosity, medium texture.

If it smells good put it in your hair, if it tastes good spit it out!

It was very windy here today and my soft curls blew away almost before I got into my car for work.

Tonight I rinsed my hair in the shower no poo or condish and it looked a little dry. I resisted the urge to put in my spray leave-in condish and instead I put in Honey mixed with water.

It looks ok wet, will keep you posted.
