How to get out the door!

I started CG very recently ago...I am so pleased already. Here was my hair then:

And now:ImageUploadedByCurlTalk1377871951.524421.jpg

However in not sure how to make this work next week, when in back at work lol! My routine is:
-co wash most days, lo-poo wash a couple times a week
-scrunch with curl keeper then recoil
-plop while I do make up
-air dry
-scrunch out the crunch

It takes about 2 hours to air dry (and it looks awful before I scrunch out the crunchiness!):

I wake up at 7, get to the office at 9. I don't mind waking a tad earlier but I feel like I'd need to wake up at 6 or so to have it ready for scrunching before 9 (my plan is to do it just before I go into the office, in my car). Also...I'm in Toronto so it's gonna get too cold to go out with wet hair.

I've tried to have second day hair...but it doesn't work. My hair is very fine and no matter how I sleep it is a hot mess in the morning. It is also too short to pineapple

Anybody have any ways to get through the CG routine and have great hair in the morning, without waking at some horrible hour!

No. I have a conair dryer I never use, but no diffuser attachment. How would I use it? Just gently on the scrunched hair to help it dry faster?

I second that diffuser! It cuts down on time. I also have to go back to work next week and was worrying-my hair looks bad before I scrunch. Instead of scrunching my gel into soaking wet hair I scrunch as much water as I can out with a t shirt or microfiber towel and let it sit while I get dressed. THEN I put gel in and scrunch it a little with my hands. Then I diffuse. It seems to cut down on the drying time for me.
I'm going to go ahead and say 3a
    fine/medium texture and a bit porous-I color
Spring routine: Renpure luxurious argan oil shampoo/Loreal Advanced Care Color conditioner , HETT gel
    Microfiber towel/diffuse
    Trying KKCC

Thank guys. I'm actually confused lol. I go back to work on the 9th....so I have done time to experiment. There is no way in going into the office before I scrunch is all I know lol!!!

I'll try to get a diffuser to try, and also experiment with getting a but more water out of my hair before adding product.

I wish I could have second day hair!

Since you don't have very long hair I think you could probably diffuse fairly fast... in 15min or so... and you don't have to do 100% dry if you don't want.

It will help with volume too!

I actually just yesterday reunited with my diffuser (pretty much air-dried the whole summer) and I got the best curls of all summer yesterday. Don't be afraid of the diffuser lol!

My hair looks a million times better when I diffuse. You'll be surprised, but it will take a bit of practice. I only diffuse for about 10 minutes, and leave it just slightly damp, but by the time I get to work its 100% dry and I SOTC.

Okay tried it. Very happy. I used the pixie curl method for about 15 minutes after plopping during my shower (I co-wash and put product in my hair, plop, then finish my shower) and doing my makeup. After diffusing I got dressed and had lunch (maybe 30 minutes) and it was ready to sotc.

My office is about 40 minutes from home do the timing should be perfect of I plop, diffuse a few minutes, get ready and go, then scrunch quickly in the car when I park (then better in the office bathroom, but enough in the car that its not gross).
