Temporary way to hide the gray until

I can color my whole head? I have gray only on the top part of my head and I wish there were a product that I can paint on and leave just where I part my hair where the gray shows. Maybe I should consider brown mascara? That sounds odd but there's just barely gray coming thru and it's been about 4 weeks since I colored but I can't get to it for the next couple of nights.

Is there any temporary fix?

Do you have a Sally's nearby? The have what they call Hair Highlighter, it's like a mascara, and it's great for touch-ups in between

What else works well is just eyeshadow. If your hair is brown. Use dark brown eyeshadow. Works great.

Hello again. I found a product at Sally's that works really well. It has a mascara-shaped wand but a smooth end and it stays until I wash. Very handy.

Ooo, that's cool! Lately I've just been wearing a headband. For some reason it hides my greys. If I don't the part shows my grey.

Does the mascara wand from Sally's leave hair hard? Or is it soft. I hope I'm making sense. Meaning does it feel like mascara would on the hair like it does on eyelashes. I hate for my hair to feel crunchy or hard at the root.

It's called Root Touch-Up. I use brown, and it's soft not crunchy in my hair and it blends nicely. I seriously love this stuff.
