What's your hair routine like? (What products do you use, how do you use them, how often do you wash your hair, etc).

i agree with the post above ^
find products that work for you
    ex: shampoos, conditioners, oils etc
shampoo & deep condition once a week or every 3 days
you should notice a bit of a difference :)

Minimizing breakage is the best way to grow out a TWA. Like it has been said before, check your regimen. You want to have the moisture/protein balance, proper detangling and styling techniques, etc.

I rarely wash my unless I need to like after a swim or something but I use organix shampoo and when I cowash every week it's either hello hydration or yes to carrots. When I'm styling its in the same style everyday and I usually comb the kinks out and put ooh la la curls on my hair by aunt Jackie or cantu leave in conditioner and that's it. If I am to twist my hair I put jojoba oil on my scalp or coconut oil.

Maybe I'm not doing something right.

Well one problem is that you can't co-wash with the hello hydration conditioner because of all the silicones in it. Those silicones build up on your hair. So if you're going to continue using that conditioner, you need to shampoo your hair every week with a sulfate shampoo. The cantu leave-in that you're using also has silicones in it, so that's even more build up on your hair. You should try following the CG method and see if that helps you out at all. My hair has been growing faster ever since I started it, because I'm using much healthier products on my hair.

Okay, so I just re-read the posts and have some stuff to add. Don't shoot me but: You gotta wash your hair more often, actually you should concentrate on the scalp and let the shampoo run down the length of the hair. If you use a gentle, sulfate-free, "conditioning", shampoo then you won't strip hair. Always follow up with a "slippery" conditioner. Detangle with conditioner in hair. Forget the comb for a while and use well groomed fingers for styling and detangling. Try that for a while and see if your situation improves.

    Good luck :)
