:hello2: UK curly here, type 4a (3c in parts), and i've been fully natural for about a year and a half! :)

I must confess, i've been creeping on the forums for a while but I never really got round to joining, but hey, here I am :occasion2:

I get really irritated with my hair because the curls at the front are just wavy and then you get these super kinky coily things at the back of my head, but i'm sure i'm not the only one lol. I'm on a quest to find the perfect frizz banishing curl defining product(aren't we all), if something like that even exists in the world.:confused5:
I also need to find more online stores to buy hair products (UK) from because it seems like there is nothing in shops made for us!
Anyway, I hope to get to know you all as we help each other with our hair difficulties and mishaps.

Aaliyah :)

Welcome! The British Curlies Curly Emporium is excellent, also useful are Amazon and eBay. We have all sorts of reasonably priced basics in the supermarkets and pharmacies. There is a list of high street Curly Girl products on the British Curlies forums.

Do you know what your hair properties are? See the Live Curly Live Free site if not, then choose ingredients and products based on your hair properties.

Are you pulling the curls at the front straighter with tight up dos, heat styling, overly enthusiastic detanging or letting power shower beat down on it? It's easy to be too rough on the parts we can see in the mirror.
