I am currently using tresseme smooth and silky as a shampoo. organix coconut milk as a conditioner. I was using cantu shea butter deep conditioner, but I learned that the silicone in it may be whats giving my hair that "dry" feeling I don't like. Its a good styling cream though, so I mixed the rest of my deep conditioner with natural shea butter.

I'm trying to get my hair healthy. I ended up damaging my hair with heat trying to fight the humidity out here in georgia. I have stopped all heat including blow drying. I usually air dry now or go from wet to two strand twist.

I still don't know which products my hair likes :/

It's great that you are helping your hair get healthy by avoiding heat as much as possible. I think heat damage is a lot worse than using cones/sulfates.
    2/c Coarse hair med. density.
    Highly porous. Color over grey.
I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....

Small update since I've read info here. My hair is softer, not as dry and healthier :love5:

I did straiten my hair the beginning of this month and it was beautiful, but a few days later I went back to the curls. I actually missed them a lot. So low maintenance.

What's part of my regimen now is:
Organix coconut milk shampoo and conditioner(got them buy one get one free), Shea butter mixed with the cantu leave-in conditioner, tea tree oil in my spray bottle and thats it. I've been itching to buy this coconut curling cream I see at the store I work at, but it's a little too expensive for me and I don't really need it right now :disgust:
