Salt spray

kleinehexekleinehexe Posts: 80Registered Users
I read somewhere (can't remember where) that salt water was good for hair. Then I saw that someone mentioned making a salt spray for 2nd/3rd day hair.

Tell me more. :D

Table salt and epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) are both curl boosters but also drying to hair.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut/ Elvive Volume Collagen
Treatments: Komaza Care Matani, coconut/ sweet almond/ fractionated coconut oils, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss Ultimate Volume, various Elvive

Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.

Thanks for that tip Firefox. Now I know why my hair didn't like my curling pudding. It has Epsom salt in it.

I wonder how ocean salt is? Say I get ocean water and extract the sand out, how is it for hair? Still drying?

Same, it's mainly sodium chloride same as table salt.

Hydrolysed protein is a curl booster than can be less drying than table salt, I can also use epsom salts some days in Rockin Ringlets, the times it was super drying was actually when I used a hard hold gel over. Used alone I had nice results: soft hair and waves/ curls that held up well.

I don't know about the salt water either it is good or not for hair. But I have personal experience that it changes the hair color into white. Means you look like old in a few years.
