Messed up a texlax, need advice

Ok, over the years I had been texlaxing my hair and never had any problems until last year. I bought a super relaxer not realizing what I grabbed. Got it home and applied it only to have a lot of hair fall out and now 3 different textures in my hair. The bottom is more of a 3b, the middle is COMPLETELY straight, and the top is more 3c. I've had pretty average growth over the past year, 6 inches to be exact and am contemplating bc. My husband and mother both keep telling me not to. My husband says my big head will look funny (real nice right? he can be an @$$) and my mom just loves how long it is. It's about below shoulder blade length when straightened. I'm just looking for some opinions, advice, maybe a kick in the pants for a confidence boost. Any help is super appreciated!:help:
