Hair Scrunching Gloves?

AnnieHeartEcoAnnieHeartEco Posts: 13Registered Users
Hello again my wavy friends!

I have recently become interested in trying scrunching gloves, as scrunching is the primary way I style my hair (just keep scrunching until it dries completely!) and I was wondering if any of you guys have tried either the DevaCurl Gloves MyDevaCurl - Products - Curly Tools or the Hotheads Hand Dry Hair Gloves Hotheads Hand Dry Hair Glove - CurlMart and if so, how they worked for you!

I really dislike scrunching with a microfiber towel/t shirt, because I like the way my hair looks better when I use only my hands to scrunch because I can form the curl easier that way, so that is why I wanted to try these gloves because I figured that it could help my hair dry quicker like the towel but still get the look I desire!

The ones at CurlMart are microfiber--makes my hair frizz. I bought the original ones that were out, they weren't for me. Ended up on the swap board.

I have the hand dry hair glove. Still use them every time I wash my hair. I have to be careful how I scrunch because sometimes it will snag a clump of hair. I like them tho, they help me dry my hair quicker.

I have the Deva ones. Not primary users but nice to have. Maybe best for refreshes.

I use gloves to apply my products and SOTC..I basically don't touch my hair without them..and I just use store bought latex free gloves (or expired ones from work). I have a pair in all my purses and in my car. I take them with me when I travel. I feel they also help reduce hair loss when applying my product..love my gloves ;)

I started using them in attempt.. in anyway to reduce frizz. I read about it on here like 6-7 months ago. At first I used them to SOTC but decided try them when apply my product. I feel like it dose help reduce and I can manipulate my hair more with out causing frizz. If I need to rescrunch a wonky wave or apply more product before diffusing. I also feel I get less hair fall out when applying my products to soaking wet hair.

The Deva ones work great for semi-supersoaking (instead of washcloth)
