How do You get the wet look

I'm going to camp in a few weeks which means low maintenance sturdy hairstyle but this year I don't feel like sitting through the usual 12 hrs it takes to achieve such a look I cam up with the wet look-the best way I know how to describe it but I want my hair to weigh itself down so its not Afro like (it tends to scare the straight haired children) and to have that wet glistening sheen I have achieved the look I want before- in the first 2 milliseconds after turning the water off my hair lol but seriously any help? Products techniques etc would be greatly appreciated

Usually, a strong gel will help achieve the "wet" look. Maybe read up on BRHG, or try KCCC. I think you'd have to glop on an awful lot, though to get the wet look.

Hope someone else chimes in with a good suggestion.
    2/c Coarse hair med. density.
    Highly porous. Color over grey.
I love all the Curl Junkie products. Still experimenting with gels and curl creams. Still hoping for 2nd day hair....
Every day is a gift :flower:
