Which products and flat iron do you use for straightening?

Thinking about going back to it instead of curly. My curls don't look very fabulous lately due to some hormonal issues. I think I would feel better flat ironing every three or four days you know? I could use some recs...haven't done this for like two years. Thanks.

I use a ceramic iron, ceramic is key! I use Organix brand coconut milk on wet hair, blow dry on low until damp, I then use Organix keratin flat iron spray, blow it dry, then flat iron. I spray the ends of each section as I flat iron. I have 3b hair. Super thick. When straight its below my bra line, when curly, most times doesn't touch my shoulders. I've tried a lot of things and this works best for me. I also swear by kinky curly products when I go curly. I.can go all week on one application. I use a spray bottle of water if I need to control fly aways.

I use the InStyler. I'm not sure if it's more or less damaging than a flat iron, but I just like the results from the InStyler better. It leaves my hair with a lot of body.

I use the Instyler too! I've been using it for a while. I have 4a hair and it gets straight with the lowest setting. You just have to go slow and steady. No heat damage so far :) Plus it leaves my hair soft and with body!
