How much water do you drink daily? Especially those of you growing out your hair and/or taking vitamins.

I probably drink 10 large glasses of water a day, between water and tea (that I drink without sugar).

I don't know how many cups/liters that is though.

It's not for my hair though, I just don't like feeling dehydrated and I work out a lot.

I drink 12 glasses a day. Have done since I was a preteen when I read in Sassy Magazine (yes, I'm that old I read Sassy) that it keeps your skin clear. It works. I'm getting closer to 30 and I've never had a blemish. :) I assume it helps my hair and everything else too. I'm quite used to it. I get thirsty if I don't have a full glass every other hour. On days when I do intense cardio I probably have more than 12 glasses. I also am taking hair skin nail vitamins but I've only been taking them a few months. I haven't had any problems with them if that's what you're asking. My hair grows very fast in general but now that I'm wearing it curly it shrinks up so I can't tell. I'm hoping the vitamins will help with that. :hmph:

This is so strange to me. I think water is delicious and refreshing. I can't eat a meal without water so that's a least 3-4 glasses right there.

I wasn't allowed to drink non water/milk beverages really growing up though.

I try to drink 2L+ of water a day. It makes me feel good! The downside is many trips to the bathroom, which my friends have laughed at.

I usually drink between 8-12 cups each day. It started as a forced squired taste until I started martial arts three years ago. Then it became a necessity if I wanted to survive training, which could go 3-4 hours some nights.

At least i'm not the only one :)
As for growing up my parents usually wanted me to drink milk... Which i also dislike and now i'm lactose in tolerant.
Also I always have frequent trips to the bathroom (about every hour or so) and i don't drink that much. It is annoying at night when trying to sleep.
But i'm forcing myself to drink 3 bottles a day so far. (Which still isn't much but it is way more than I usually drink.
Does anyone else like their water at room temperature? I also think water is much worse cold ( i know i'm an odd one) lol

My fiancé does martial arts and i have seen how hard training can be (my hat goes off to the ladies and gentleman who can keep up with martial arts training). When doing extraneous activities, I usually have flavored water.

I don't drink nearly enough, although I love it! I think I just forget, or don't have time to drink throughout the day. I normally drink about 4 big glasses after I get home from work. I'm probably in a perpetual state of dehydration.

I also find it strange that people don't like the taste of water because it doesn't really taste of anything. But my friend, who feels the same, has been drinking fruit tea to try to increase her water intake. She boils a big ole pitcher's worth of decaffeinated berry tea in the morning, puts that in the fridge to chill after its seeped, transfers it to a giant container, and goes about her day. Just a suggestion. Kind of like flavored water only nobody's adulterating the mix with any less than savory additives. Sometimes flavored water has stuff like splenda in it.

I also like flavored carbonated (non mineral) water. There a lot of brands that do unsweetened ones.

Lol most people do find it strange but speaking only of bottled water, I can taste the difference in the brands. The only brand I find tolerable is Dasani, and that's at room temperature. (This makes me sound so picky, but on the flip side i'll eat anything.) I might have to try fruit tea!:) Thank you for the suggestion.

I can't stand tea either. Guess I'm a really odd one. Health nuts would probably cringe at my food & liquid intake.
