Here we go ladies. I'll start

Miss
Soultanicals Coilditioner. No moisture for me. Plus this is a thin lotion like product in a jar. Really it should be in a bottle with a pump. Not creamy like the picture. Does nothing for my hair. I think she make it thicker and check the pH.

Soultanicals Mango dip. Does not make my hair soft. Barely detangles. Glad I only got a sample. So far, nothing has worked for me from this line. Moving on...

Hit: Pulled out a hidden gem in my Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Conditioner as a prepoo/dc

Neutral: Felt very oily rinsing it out!

Neutral: Pink Sugar Hair Perfume...has alcohol...but does make the hair nice.

Neutral/Hit: Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Smoothie as a refresher between washes...did the trick, but i can't put my finger on what still hasn't sold me on this product even though i keep buying it?

Miss: Pulled out shampoo to deal with the greasy feeling from the garnier conditioner, and went with Shea Moisture Curl Hibiscus Shampoo and this did not help! and I usually really like this shampoo.:ncool:

    Miss:
DermOrganics Hair mask. Felt good going on but when I rinsed it out my hair was a frizzy tangled mess. I had to spritz my hair with water+avj to tame the halo and frizz. Use 3 leave-ins to soften my hair. Sending it back to Ulta

    Neutral
DermOrganics conditioning shampoo. Nice thick creamy product. It does moisturize but I like Botanical Spirits Banana peppermint shampoo much better. Sending it back to Ulta

    Hit:
NBD Cosmetics Moisture Miracle. Nice light moisturizing product. May have to buy an 8oz jar of this.

    Super hit
NBD Cosmetics Nectar leave-in. On my second bottle. This is the best spritz other than Komaza aloe my hair spritz that my hair likes. A keeper.

Curls curl control paste. I was a little hesitant with spending $8 for a 4oz product but I've had this for almost a year and I've used maybe 1/3 of the jar. I use it for slicking edges & puffs, to refresh my daughters pigtails and when doing box braids or flat twists. Nice hold and cuts down on frizz without being tacky or sticky. Will definitely repurchase whenever I finally finish this jar.

Hit: Bentonite clay mud mask. My hair is so clean and moisturize without it being stripped. I can do this once or twice a year. Will like to try Rhassoul clay next.

Miss: I definitely made up my mind about As I Am coconut cowash. Hated it! (In my men on film voice from in living color)

    Miss:
Evercurl Hydracharge Conditioner - Not much slip, but I did get soft hair with this one. The problem with it was my scalp got very irritated and itchy. I don't know what ingredient caused this (I suspect it may be the orange oil which I'm allergic to), but it's at the bottom of the ingredients list.?????

Elasta QP Breakage Control Serum - Crispy, straw-like hair.

    Hit:
Shea Moisture ABS Purification Masque: Nice hair refresher and curly reviver. Perfect summer product. Will be using this twice a month.

Bobeam Goats Milk & Honey Shampoo Bar - Man I love her shampoo bars. First time using this particular one and its a winner. Soft, clean hair. Although I followed up with a conditioner, I really didn't need one.
Hair Type: 4a/b dense, fine, coily hair. Natural 13 years.

Staples: Matrix Biolage Exquisite Oil S & C, aloe vera, almond oil mix, black soap shampoo and bentonite clay.

Cush Cosmetics Uncoiled Lite Conditioning Detangler. Didn't soften my hair at all. In fact, it made my hair frizzy and hard. I think it's a pH problem. The only product my hair likes consistently is the Huile Supreme Moisturizing conditioner. That's too bad because this is a wonderful company with excellent customer service.

Kinky Curly Come Clean. Not worth $12. I had to use more of the product to get my hair clean and product free.

Kinky Curl Knot Today. Made my hair frizzy. It was not a great leave in conditioner.

I got these two products for free. My friend did not like them for her daughter's hair. I am glad I did not spend any money on them.

Neutral: Ordered some Mozeke samples. These are really samples in these little plastic squeeze tube thingies...why not put it in a jar? seriously? and taking a week just to ship the product out and don't even email me a confirmation. So far I opened up the coconut milk

Neutral/Hit: Coconut Kokum Hair Milk-This smells sooo good. Like Starburst candy, pink grapefuilt, juices and berries fragrance....yumm, you almost want to taste it! Doesn't smell anything like coconut. LOL. Tried some on a dry parched dry piece of hair and twisted a section with it, there was moisture but when it dried it made it kinda hard. Unraveled twist and there was mucho definition, and a lot of hold. Still need to try it again. I'll be pissed if I end up liking this product.

You know when I twist with the kokum I seal it with a butter this way it'll hold the moisture in and give it some shine! I use her mango butter blend and that joint smells soooo good like pink sugar!

Like two years ago, she used to offer 4oz samples in a jar. Nice sizes. I don't know why she stopped.

Beautiful Textures Edges to Ends Silkner-miss-Saw this at my local BSS. Couldn't read the label for the ingredients because of the gigantic bar code on the back of the box. Needless to say, I was surprised to find that this had mineral oil as an ingredient. I tried it and it left my forehead kinda greasy. My edges were laid down and soft, but the greasiness factor is a no-go.

    ETA: glycerin overload.

    Pre-lim Hit:
Aunt Jackie's Knot on my watch. Nice slip. Detangles well on 3 day old hair. Makes my styling products work better and my hair hold more moisture longer. I think I may love this product. Need to test it on freshly washed hair. The smell is strong but fades quickly.

    Miss:
Trying to get my money back from Ulta.com for a return. First of all there's no telephone number on the site. I sent 4 e-mails to them with no reply. I finally did a google and found the customer service number. I got some BS story that they don't see my return...it takes awhile for the warehouse to open return packages. Blah, blah, blah. They've got 1 more week and then I'm going to file a paypal claim. Don't order from Ulta.com unless you are sure you will LOVE the product.

Misses ( anything I bought with Shea butter :( )

    - Jessicurl Aloeba condish
    - GF Triple Nutrition ( returned)

I found these to be moisturizing btw but shea butter leaves my hair very stiff and dull in a short period of time. No bueno.

    Also in the miss category:
    - Mop Top leave in ( too much protein. Caused major knots. Got damn!!)

    Hits:

Curly Kinks CurlyCue Renew condish - very nice!
Darcy Botanicals vanilla delight detangling milk - very slippery and moisturizing!

Cush Cosmetics Curl gel: When my hair was wet it looked nice and shiny. But when it dried, my hair was rough, tangly, dry, dry and had shrunk up 100%. Glad I only got a sample. I think I may have to use over a heavier leave-in.

Major hit: I finally clip my ends. Also using QB coco tree detangling ghee to moisturize my hair.

Not sure: the after effects of bentonite clay. My hair still feels very clean, but my ends were slightly stripped. I hope that rhassoul clay will have a better result.

Preliminary Hit: Darcys Botanicals Cocoa Bean Whip
I bought this a cpl mos ago, tried it once and determined it was decent then put it away until I used up some older products. Pulled this back out a cpl weeks ago because I got ADD w what ive been using and have been using it as my leave in since.
I think I love it. Its consistent, & despite the wax in it it doesnt build up. It gives me good long lasting moisture without being heavy. Its thick but still light somehow and absorbs easily aaaand I like that its unscented. I am supposed to be using up other things right now but I keep reaching for it which for me is usually a sign that something is great. Gotta see if it works this good in diff weather.

Hit: Shea Moisture Restorative conditioner, havent tried this for a cpl years and theyve changed the formula since. It used to be thick and buttery/oily now its creamier and slippery. Either way it works great as a rinse out, really makes my hair feel moisturized and conditioned & is slippery enough to kind of cowash with and clean my scalp. Def repurchase.
