Big Frizzy Mess

Hey guys. I have really big, frizzy 3c/4a hair. I recently bought a denman brush but it more separates rather than clumping and defining which only adds to the volume - something I'm not a big fan of. Any tips for less volume, frizz control, and more definition?

Only brush curly hair when it is soaking dripping wet with some sort of detangling product on, preferably don't brush at all it creates frizz as you have found. Never brush or comb curly hair damp or dry.

It's worth reading the stickies on the newbies, this and general boards, that will explain all the common Curly Girl theory and techniques to you.
