Well hello there! I am very new at this. I am 25 and have had straight/relaxed hair since I was 11. I am biracial (half white half black) and honestly have no what I am doing when it comes to transitioning to natural hair. My mom (the white parent lol) is who raised me and tried her best, but I'm sure the day I decided to relax my hair for the first time she heaved a sigh of relief lol. My hair is super damaged, super dry, and has diff curl patterns depending on what section of my head you are looking at lol. I am chopping all the dead straight stuff off on Saturday and would really appreciate any and all tips to get my hair healthy and beautiful. TIA!

Hey! The best tips to give... Hmmm... Well what exactly would you like to know? What products are you using now? How often do you wash? And for dryness coconut oil is my holy grail! Loveeeee it! I saturate my hair with it on wash days! And it helps with the frizz that comes on my 3rd day and it helps with dryness as well. Anything specifically you wanna know feel free to ask (:

Well I'm mostly interested in how to take care of my curls the right way. Like a said most of my life I've had overly processed straightened hair so I have no idea about how to properly moisturize and maintain my hair and since nobody in the fam has hair like mine they are useless to me. I live in a place where curly hair is very much in the minority. It is very hard to find someone who can cut curly hair let alone "ethnic" hair so I'm kinda on my own here. Tips are very much needed
