omg :p you actually made a thread about a proposition of mine!
    I like you Jules!
I will be posting pictures in a couple of days I guess... depending on when I wash my hair :p (I'm having exams now, and then, since I don't have to go anywhere, I don't wash my hair as often as I do when I need to go out)

I'm sooo glad that you seem to have really little hair before SOTC and a lot of hair after SOTC. I thought I was the only one. I didn't think anyone else was having such big difference between before and after SOTC... because it's only a couple of minutes between both pictures, right?

My before picture will be horrible... I have definition on the sides, a mess on the back.
After SOTC I have almost the same amount of definition everywhere, which I prefer ofcourse (I really don't like the mess on the back of my head :p)

I was wondering Jules, what density do you have? (difficult to judge on a picture for me)

I'm not really sure how to put pictures in a post, but I'll try. My 'before' picture is with clips in place (and crossed eyes, apparently), and then I have two 'after' photos.

Aw, thank you! I'm with you, I love volume! I flip my hair over and shake it up near the roots to make it look more full. I envy people with volume that just happens naturally! :notworthy:

Wendi and Jules, you both have awesome hair. So defined and pretty. :toothy10: My hair definitely does that too-- it looks really flat and wet before I SOTC. This is a great idea for a thread. I'll take pictures tonight, if I remember to.

Sorry, my images were really low quality so I'm going to post bigger ones.

Ok, I did it. The first two pictures are with crunch, last two without. My hairs dark, so hopefully you can see how it grows three times it's crunchy size. Also, obviously my hair's only wavy.

LOL, this is great! I'll get my pics up soon! A few days ago I saw a crunchy haired curly walking around going about her day and it was obvious she kept her hair int he cast all day -- and it took ALL MY STRENGTH to not walk up to her and start scrunching out her crunch!

Thank you! As someone born with slick-straight hair, I have always envied waves and curls. Now that I have a little bit of wave, I wish it were curly. Grass is always greener, right?

I began CG last August. I had a BC recently that cut off the waviest part of my hair. Without styling products and diffusing, I am a 1b most days and a 1c if it's humid enough. Not really following CG anymore as I cannot replicate what my hair was doing when it was mid-back length. That and my shorter hair seems to love being shampooed.

The SOTC pic above is using Suave Captivating Curls Whipped Cream mousse and Biotera Styling gel. My hair is loving silicones at the moment.

My hair doesn't look too different when it's "crunchy" unless I'm washing my hair the night before. Then my hair is super crunchy because I add product to protect my hair while I sleep. . . maybe I should take a snapshot of an evening like that.

I didn't really mean it in a insulting way; I just meant that I don't get that huge scrunch out the crunch difference like some curlies get. My hair's shape stays the same, the strands just spread out more and become a put fluffier.

I'm also "just wavy" but I also get the huge scrunch out the crunch difference.
I'm a 2c on normal days (sometimes 2b, at rare times 3a I think) and my before SOTC just looks messy, I would expect it to be a mess after crunch, not waves.
After SOTC it definitely looks like waves.

    I'll hopefully post pictures tomorrow
