New summer routine

Since I am not swamped with work during the summer months an actually have extra time to spend on my hair daily. I am on a retaining length mission.
A few new things I will be trying during the summer include
-No styling tools (finger detangling)
-No co-washing
-Taking biotin daily
- Hot oil rinses.
-No heat (except hooded dryer during DC and PT's)
-Low manipulation, so Wash n Go's, Pony Tails and Buns will be my only styles
- I will continue to DC weekly
-I am also a henna head so I will continue to Henna once Weekly.
-No clipping my ends( I feel i do it to frequently and am cutting off hair for no reason)

Below is a picture of the amount of hair I lost when Finger Detangling.. Which I have to say is not that hard at all once I got used to it .

This is after detangling my whole head, which is significantly less than when I use a wide tooth comb.

When I first started going natural, I use to detangle with a wide tooth comb and the amount of hair I lost was insane. A few months ago, i decided to really finger comb. I have been ever since. I only lose a little. The change was dramatic. In regards to your pic, that is a good amount to lose! You should keep going with the finger detangling if you like it.

I don't loose any more with wide tooth combing? I wander what make the difference. I only detangle in the shower though.

I actually feel since my fingers are more textured, that they pull out more hair than a comb.

I also only detangle in the shower, but for my first time finger detangling I did it out of the shower.
I also do enjoy it so I will continue throughout the summer months to see if I notice any changes. :) Thanks for your input ladies
