Should I get locks?

I've been wanting to get dreads for a while and alot of my friends have been saying that it would be a good idea to get some, but on the other hand a lot of my friends say it wouldn't look right on me. I'm not one to care about what people think about me or my looks, but the people around me tend to ask questions and constantly harass people about any little thing that is different about them.

Please look up 'Kaitlin Stowers' on facebook, I'm the girl with the curly hair.

Check out my picks and look to see if they would look okay on me.

I want to go for something new, but at the same time, look good at it.

Please give me a little advice on what to do! :dontknow:

You could always imitate the look without locing your hair to get a feel of how it would look on you.

I think u should do what makes u happy. I had the same dilemma when i was a newbie but it was bc so many people were suggesting it although i had considered it it really wasnt what i wanted. I too made a post on here abt it. Kinky twists gave me the temp look so i had best of both worlds. I didnt end up locking and i am sooo glad with m decision. There is way more versatility with loose natural hair. I am always trying something new. So i made the best decision.
    hth. Good luck
