I need help desperately

This time last year I done a Brazilian Keratin Blow Out. The results were amazing and it left my hair really smooth. A month later I also got my hair dyed into a lighter colour and it was a permanent dye. I never dyed my hair before it was my first time, before the brazilian kertain blow out my hair was completely natural.
I went on holiday shortly after that and I think the salt from the beaches damaged my hair. I noticed since then my hair has been extremely damaged! My hair is DRY and most of the curls have lost its shape so it's almost wavy and frizzy, so it looks horrible! I have type 3b curls.
I have very long hair and I was thinking a hair cut would help me. So, I am getting it cut soon. However, I need some products that would help me get my curls shapes back. I'm a student so I can't afford expensive products but has anyone got any recommendations?
Thank you!

Try the Curly Girl method using basic pharmacy type products, Waterlily716 on YouTube recommends some, also check out the reviews sections here on NC/ Curl Talk. DIY deep treatments are cheap: gelatine for protein, coconut oil and honey for hydration, these definitely help by curls become more bouncy with regular use. These ingredients will not absorb into the hair well if your hair is coated in silicone based conditioners or stylers (suffix -cone, -conol and -xane).
