What do you do with straight hair?

in Hair Type 4
This is probably a really silly question, but I'm thinking of temporarily straightening my hair, and I'm not sure what to do. I've worn my hair curly for about 8 years or so, and I don't remember how to take care of straight hair. Can anyone recommend some products and techniques for me? I currently use Qhemet Biologics Amla and Olive Heavy Cream as a daily leave-in/styler. The last time I had straight hair, I was using Luster's Pink Oil, but I don't want to use petrochemicals in my hair anymore. I currently have a myriad of products (mostly natural oils), but am open to suggestions.
Thanks a bunch!

3C/4A...I'm not sure. I'm part Polish, Swedish, Swiss-German, and half Liberian with a crazy hair type.

Do you think jojoba oil would also work well for blow drying?

Your hair looks smoother than mine, so yours should come out really good. You also should be able to use jojoba oil. I haven't tried it, but I don't see why it would be a problem using. Maybe you could take a small section and try using the jojoba on it before blowdrying to see if you like the results, w/o having to completely commit and not like it.
