My mom just found out she has uterine cancer..UPDATE

I don't know what to do... I feel so bad for her. But I think they caught it early. The biopsy about a month ago was fine. They said no cancer. But a D&C said otherwise.

T&P to you. Is it stage 1 cancer or carcinoma in situ (not full cancer, but the meaning of it is cancer in place)? In any event, I pray she pulls through.

TNB, my mom had uterine cancer in her 50's about 30 years ago. She had a hysterectomy but never needed chemo or radiation and she is still alive today. She has another form of cancer now but it took at least 25 years for that to show up.They caught the uterine cancer quick in her case and it sounds like in your mom's case as well. I wish you both much good luck.

Mom came out of surgery a couple hours ago. The doctor said he thinks he got it all and early. But he won't be sure until pathology tests come back in 1-2 weeks. And he said 90% of endometrial cancers are caused by being overweight. I didnt know that! Ugh, I gotta go on a diet...next week.
