Hey All,

I've always posted in the 2's forum, but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm actually a 3a instead of 2b or 2c. Attached is my hair today. I just got my hair cut, so it's moisturized enough and such. What do ya'll think? 3a or 2c?

2a wavy. acv is my friend. flax gelee weighs down my hair too much.

cleansers: giovanni, curls
conditioner: curls
styling: LA Looks sports gel

I honestly feel like the 2c/3a are the same. Like when you look at the hair type pictures they seem the same to me. You can learn from both types in my opinion. Also (this may or may not be true for you), but do you feel like your hair is 3a some days and 2c others? It may have something to do with the products we use etc. Like I can make my hair wavier some days and springier/3aer on other days. Also I have a weird head its got 2c's 3a's and 3b's. So just experiment!! :color:

before i started the cg method i thought i was only 2c. once my hair got enough moisture (like in a week or two!!) it was clear my hair is 3a, with a little 2c, 3b. but, the longer i'm cg, the less 2c hair i see.
so, to answer your question, yes, you could be 2c, but in your photo it looks more like 3a. i bet with some dts you would see more curl.
    btw, i LOVE your haircut!

    3a, some 2c & 3b, medium texture, porosity normal, low elasticity :-(

I think you are 3a but hard to tell for sure from the photo. Looks like a great haircut!

First off, I love your new hair cut! It is very pretty. It is a little hard to tell your curl pattern in that picture, but I would say a mix of 2c and 3a.
