Folks I am in the market for a parent helper to assist me by picking my chidren up from school/daycare, bringing them home, settling them in before my husband and I return home.

I reside in Baltimore, MD. Any suggestions on where I sh/ look? I have checked with nanny agencies and au paire but those are more of a time commitment than what my husband and I are looking for.

I am looking for someone who is willing to work for us from 5:00 pm to about 7:00 pm, M - TH, pick up the children, bring them home, bathe and play with them. I can feed and put them to bed.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yeah i would run an add in a college paper or if you have any kids in daycare you could ask around if any of the workers are wanting to make a little extra money. When I did daycare/preschool we were always having parents ask for babysitters and things like you are discribing

I met wth her yesterday and I was very impressed. Nice girl, does a lo tof baby sitting in the area already. A nursing student who wants to work in OB. CPR and First Aid certified and lives in my township. I am going to try her out with some babysitting gigs to see how she works out.
