natural shampoos...?

i was looking through my beauty books and in one, i found two recipes for all natrual shampoos. not sure if they're CG;

egg shampoo;;
in a blender mix together two small eggs with 50g/2 oz of still mineral water ans 15 ml/1 tspb of cider vinegar or lemon juice. blend for 30 seconds at low speed. massage well into scalp and rinse very thorougly with lukewarm water [if the water is any hotter, the egg will begin to set].

herbal shampoo;;
crush a few dried bay leaves with a rolling pin and mix a handful of dried camomile flowers and one of rosemary. place in large jug and over 1 liter/1 3/4 pints of boiling water. strain after 2-3 minutes and mix in 5 ml/1 tsp of soft or liquid soap. apply to the hair, massaging well. rinse throughly.

any opinions and whatnot would be appreciated.

    The second one really scares me because of the liquid/soft soap addition. Eeek. :shock: :?

    I usethis soap for my body. I checked the ingredients, and they looks CG, but it has lye in it, but if soap is made correctly, there won't be any lye left in it. Here are the ingredients.
    Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Aqua (Water), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Citral, Parfum (Fragrance), Sodium Chloride, Citric Acid, Limonene, Tocopherol Acetate, Geraniol, Linalool, Sodium Hydroxide, Hexylcinnamal, Citronellol, Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract (Rosemary), Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (Sunflower)

    It's really gentle on my skin and it doesn't dry it out. Plus, it lasts forever!

    You can get it at sephora. I don't know where else you can get it, I got it in a gift set someone gave me. I'm concerned about the sodium palmate, I think I heard that it was very drying.
