New to Professional Color, what do I need to kow

Hi, I am going to get my hair colored tomorrow at a professional salon by a Deva trained curly girl. When I had my hair cut a few weeks ago, she reccomended a demi perm color and we talked about the shade a bit.

What do I need to do in the morning? Co wash? can I put in gel or should I avoid it? Any other hints?

Actually, you should do nothing. Preferably there should be little or no gel on the hair but CO-washing the same day it's not ideal because it could remove some of the natural oil which helps the color will "grab" better. Demi-perm color is gentle and easy, so the only advice for post-care would be to "wash" less frequently so it lasts longer.
