Frizz help!

Okay, so I tried the curly girl method for a bit. and I liked it. But I live in a high humidity environment, and the gel-only styling was not enough to tame my curls in this kind of air. I don't know what else to try! Help!

Hi Fernandezma! Sorry to hear you are struggling with the frizzies. Knowing your hair properties will help make sure you are using the right kinds of products for your hair, because not all curly hair will react the same way to various products. This doesn't just include curl pattern, but also porosity, texture and width. You can find out more about yours here: Curly Hair Tips, Styles & Products - NaturallyCurly

When you know more about your hair properties let us know and then wiser and more experienced curlies than me (I'm just a newbie) can diagnose the issue and help figure out a solution :)

if you are in a high humidity area (high dew points?), then you might want to try sealing before the gel. some people use oils, my hair prefers butters.
