Transitioning back to Curly after 3 years of Brazillian Blowouts

I lost my hair 4 years ago when I went through chemo and have been getting it straightened ever since it started to come back in because the short / curly look was not attractive. My hair is now shoulder length and very thick and I would like to consider going curly again but no clue how to start! My hair was 3b but who know what th post chemo hair is. I tried looking around but most posts seem to be people who were using other types of relaxing. Would appreciate any thoughts/ Comments!

Have you considered regular Keratin treatments (without the formaldehyade, can't spell it lol)? They're like blowouts, but healthier and specifically for helping you go natural. I had one months ago when I first wanted to go natural.
3b & 3c. Had to learn everything myself since momma didn't understand curly hair.

Concubine: a sultan's lover; usually very sexy ladies of the highest quality; Persian term; usually also dancers.

I'm in a similar boat, transitioning after two years of Keratin treatments. It's been difficult finding a salon that uses the ones without formaldehyde in and even when they don't I think most salons are not sure what us in the product. I would personally stay clear of them, they have ruined my hair.
With ref to the transitioning I read lots of post from relaxed transitioned as we kind of fall in with them. I still have two different textures and we still need to moisturise and deep condition regularly.

    Good luck Hun xx
My goal is to embrace the curls I've been fighting all my life..

I'm going back to curly after a year of blowouts. Sulphate shampoos and regular cleansing with baking soda will help restore some of the natural curl, but I have only been able to get this to work to a point, so after a couple of months with sulphates I went to the CG method. My thinking is that I now have just enough of my curl back to live with it and I am going to focus on growing out the rest of the keratine, and keeping the new growth in great condition.

Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using CurlTalk App
    2C, Medium thickness, Low posity
Recovering from a year of keratin and bleach with CG

Low Poo, Condition, Leave in, Curl cream, Supersoak, Gel, Diffuse on high heat, with minimal lift to encourage waves and reduce frizz, Dry on cool with nozzle down to smooth hair and finish drying,Shine Serum

    Weekly gelatin protien treatments.

Girl I say just go natural, because putting chemicals on already damaged hair, because of chemo is not good.
