Need a quickie shampoo and conditioner

So I'm going upstate for the next few days and forgot my shampoo and conditioner. Anyone know of any quickie ones I can use while I'm away? I was think of using ACV with water for my shampoo and perhaps an oil to moisturize. Also, anyone know if I can mix the ACV with an oil to use as a two-in-one kind of concoction? Thanks :) my dad doesn't understand why I'm freaking out lol I told him "I must consult with the community!"

    Oh No!

If you can get to a Walmart, I'd pick up some Giovanni lowpoo and condish. Drugstores carry Renpure, they have a decent line of low poos, but some of their conditioners have a cone. There's always V05 and Suave? Burt's Bee's? L'Oreal? Maybe do a google search for CG friendly drugstore products?

The thing is that I didn't want to buy more products. I've bought a lot already and don't need more to add to my pile at home

Lol I am too. It's just that my wallet can't take it anymore. Plus, I've been disappointed by so many products that I figure I should try cheaper, and simpler products to see if maybe those will be even better for me

That's a great idea. I have too many products right now and that creates a feeling of being overwhelmed. There are too many variables, dew points, possibilities, reviews to read, lol!

Vinegar is ok for the hair, but be careful to only use it 1-2 times a week. It's an acid and can become damaging. The other times you could just rub your scalp like you're shampooing and that might help clean it. Also, doesn't you family have hair products you can borrow?

Yes, the ACV from what I understand is good once every 2 weeks or once a month. You could get some tea tree oil. Put it (diluted) on the ends of q-tips and gently massage your scalp with them. Then get in the shower, rinse with water and condition with the coconut oil. Tea tree oil should keep your scalp clear and combat dry scalp. I don't know about whether or not water will fully rinse out your styling products though. I guess the ACV is good for that but be careful not to overdo it.

I'm gonna do a coconut oil DT overnight and rinse with red wine vinegar in the morning. I'm leaving Saturday probably so I should be fine. For Friday though, how can I use the coconut oil as a conditioner? I mean will water alone wash it out?

Yea it does get overwhelming. I'm hoping these natural alternatives work. Esp since I will be going to grad school soon and living off of loans
