Anyone know of any good product combos that wont weigh down fine natural hair?

my hair is relatively fine by nature and i need some products that give me good hold and but dont weigh it down majorly, if that makes sense?i usually do twistouts and i usually use sheamoisture curl enhancing smooth, though it smells nice , it doesnt give me firm hold in this sweltering Texas heat. ive tried to use it in conjunction with eco styler and that just left me with alot of white balls in my hair
anyways, any product suggestions?
do miss jessie products have a firm hold? also what do you guys use when doing your bantu knot outs? and on wet or dry hair?
