condish

I think I have tried every conditioner that is out there! They either weigh my hair down and make it way too soft or I get fly aways. I'm at a loss on what to try now. There are too many to name on the ones I have used. Lately I tried, tresemme naturals, aussie, one C (that was horrible and waxy). I've tried some of the suaves - made my hair limp.
Anyone have very fine, thin hair that weighs down easily?? The best I have tried so far is the neutrogena triple moisture but it has cones and I'm sure I'll get build up sooner or later.
I'm beginning to think maybe I ought to look for a detangler instead and only condition the night before when I don't use product.

Have you tried the Giovanni Leave-In? It's super light and makes detangling a breeze. You could use it as a rinse-out to make it even lighter! Also, if your hair likes protein, the Aubrey GPB condish is pretty lightweight as a rinse-out (I wouldn't leave it in). Finally, a lot of folks love KCKT, although it doesn't work for me personally.

LOL, I really dislike the Giovanni leave in. on the other hand, I love the Smooth as Silk Deep conditioner.

My suggestions: Try Yes to Tomatoes volumizing conditioner. It is light, smells great. Or, the Tresemme naturals.

Hello to all this is my first post!
I used to use giovanni's but personally i did not think it did that much for my hair. i have been really loving the curl junkie rehab lately. it makes your hair soft and managable. Also try introducing protein into your hair routine about 1 a month (or more if your hair likes it) Also my favorite cheap condish is Desert Essence Coconut conditioner! It has amazing slip and can be used as dc or leave in!

Co-wash: Oyin Honey Hemp, Desert Essence Coconut Conditioner, Tea Tree Tingle Trader Joes Conditioner
Condish: Curl Junkie Rehab, Camille Rose Moisture Max
Protein: AOGPB, Curl Junkie Repair Me and strengthening condish
Stylers: KMF upper managment gel, Kccc, curl junkie pattern pusha
    Testing: Curl Junkie Curl Queen!
2nd-day refresher: Use an oil to fluff 2nd day hair . 3rd day : Blend a cowash conditioner, water with avacado oil! Seal with camille rose curl aid moisture butter! super soft hair!

Could you maybe need more protein? My hair gets like that from condish sometimes if my protein is not balanced with it. Just a thought!

Could also be some build up?

As for light condish, good recs on here! I second the Tresemme Nats. The suave and vo5 ones that people co-wash with might be nice and light for you, too.

Protein might be lacking. My hair gets easily weighed down but needs a TON of protein. It might just be a protein/moisture imbalance. Easily fixed!

For me, Kinky Curly Knot Today provides detangling and light conditioning without weighing down my hair. I really, really love it.

my hair can get pretty protein sensitive. Especially with wheat protein. But I see I have quite a bit of other proteins in my other products. I think it lacks moisture. I get GREAT hair days when it rains. But I"m not sure what to look for if my hair likes rain :)
All the vo5's left my hair weird... fly aways and overly soft making it curl less.

Darby: I dont know if my hair is protein sensitive, or if it loves protein. I have not been able to figure out the chemistry of my hair but I know that glycerine, if its high on the ingredients list, probably isnt great. I was very frustrated too, like you. So I grabbed my GVP conditioning balm, because so many here love it. Well, I love it too now. It may not work when it gets warm, I may need something lighter, but its working great now. Sallys. Its cheap.

thanks for all the recs :) I ordered some - yes to tomatoes. HARD to find!! Walgreens discontinued it in the stores. I finally found it at zappos that doesn't charge in shipping. I might get the GVP for when it warms up too later on. Today it's raining - I'll have a good hair day today.

I was surprised to see that Walgreens discontinued it in the stores. However, I believe you can go to a Walgreens, and have them order it, and not be charged shipping. I do this for a face product that they have on line and not in the stores. You can call and ask. It may also be in Target. Zappos is great; they dont charge for shipping either way, so if you dont like it they will pay for its return, at least they do with their shoes. Be sure to tell us how you liked it! Regarding the GVP: I have never tried this, but Ill bet if you dilute it with a cup of water or so and pour it over your hair (like an old fashioned cream rinse), it might do just the trick. I have been thinking about doing this in warmer weather.
