Hello again :) Well I just washed my hair some hours ago and used shea moisture deep cleansing shampoo and the shea moisture balancing conditioner. The CG method works very well for me last time but my scalp is very dry and itchy so I used the shampoo this time. But I am some months into my transition and I just got up the courage to go to school without straightening my hair. Anyways I washed my hair some hours ago and it reminded me why I didnt want to show my natural hair in the first place. It is a total mess and my bangs are just straight and ugh. I have kind of been cheating and straightening my hair with heat protectant but I read it still can causes damage. Does anyone know how I can style my hair? Should I just straighten it? Please excuse me hiding my face. It is late and I am not very good looking at the moment haha. O and if anyone know how I can enlarge my picture I will post it again thanks :) Sorry it's so small. My hair is 3b/3c and the bangs are straight from the heat damage :/ being natural and transitioning is a little harder than I thought.
3b/3c :love5:
lovin my hair :D

Have you tried twist outs, braid outs or similar styles that will make your hair uniform? Youtube has tons of tutorials on transitioning hairstyles you can start there. Good luck!

    +2. YouTube is a lifesaver sometimes. :)

And hang in there. We all get frustrated. Whether you're transitioning or been natural for years. Your hair looks so thick, beautiful and full!! You are gonna have a lion's mane once those curls kick in. :D

The healthier your hair becomes the easier it it to manage and style. It sounds like you could benefit from some deep moisture treatments.Hair and Faith: Nine day moisture retention therapy (for Coily Queens)
This technique works miracles on your hair strands.
