Stylists in Boston that can cut type 4 hair

I am hesitant to make an appointment at any salon, when I am not sure I can get there on time. I do not live in Boston, nor do I have a car. I go to school in Eastern Ma and even though there are other cities around, Boston has the most public transportation, so I'd just feel comfortable getting it done there.
I've been to Boston quite a few times, and there are some parts I'm more familiar w/ than others, that being said I still get lost sometimes.
I'm not looking for CG stylists. I'm looking for any stylist. I know that for CG they cut your curls dry, but personally I'd rather have them cut wet, and I just want a trim.
Are there any salons in Boston that take walk-ins that aren't CG - that are just regular stylists - but still can trim kinky hair fine?
