Garnier Olia haircolor?

Has anyone used this hair dye? I am looking for a permanent color to cover greys without ammonia and came across this line.
I just started the curly girl method 4 weeks ago and I am hesitant to color my hair period , but those greys have to go :-)
I don't want to use henna, I used henna in my teens and twenty's and while I had great results with the red tones trying to get my natural color of medium brown did not work so well.
Any input is greatly appreciated!

Did you use it over "naked" hair or did you wash out all the products before ? I was thinking about washing my hair the day prior and not use anything in my hair.

I co wash so I just did that the night before I colored my hair so it was free from product. I got wonderful results and good coverage.

The good:
It had a pleasant scent.
It went on effortlessly and I seemed to get really good coverage.
It didn't drip at all even though it seemed like it would with its thin consistency.
The color is nice. I went from a medium golden brown to a medium brown.
The bad:
Dry Dry Dry Dry hair! I didn't expect this since it is supposed to be oil based. It didn't feel bad going in but as soon as I tried to rinse it out it was a dry tangled mess no matter how much conditioner I used.
It did not completely cover my grays.
I have been coloring my hair for over 10 years and have tried pretty much everything out there. This one has to be the worst! So far my favorite is Revlon Color Silk.
Conditioner: Curly Kinks Deep Conditioner and Leave-In
Styling: Still searching but currently using HESMU

I have to color my hair every three weeks to avoid gray roots (bummer, since I am only 42, but whatever) because my hair is so dark, however, I use half the stuff and just do my roots and then use the rest up next time I have to color. I also use the conditioner that comes with it once a week.
Cantu Naturals s & c (shampoo 1x a week), use conditioner as a co-wash every day and LI under my gel.
Air dry then diffuse canapy layers only for volume
Coconut oil before/after coloring grays and on ends.
2b/c mix waves/curls - coarse, frizz prone, med. thick, porous, at-home color, protein sensitive but I still need it sometimes, glycerin-sensitive (I think) in high humidity. After 16 years on NC.com I FINALLY figured it out..
