Sonicglide Is The New Maxiglide?

mycurlymanemycurlymane Posts: 26Registered Users
Hey Curlies!

I'm a fan of the original Maxiglide XP and was seeking a backup, but it has been MIA for a looong time.:crybaby: I ended up reaching out to the company, Maxius Beauty, which informed me that they were introducing the Sonicglide (check out my review of the Maxiglide and correspondence with its creators).

Well, it's here! The Sonicglide looks like the original Maxiglide ... except that it vibrates?? If anyone snags one, please let me know your results. I'm tempted to pick up another one, but the price is kinda up there. Plus, the previous off-shoot, the Maxiglide Express, was faulty. If this one is like the original XP, only then I'm in. Hmmm ... tempted ... hmmm ... maybe. Please share your experience!

I loved the maxiglide. That's the one with the steam pocket?? The only problem was the teeth snagged my hair. But other than that I got the softest hair with it.

I didn't like it when I first used it because of the pins. Yup, it was shelved. I rediscovered it a year later. You really have to practice the technique and adjust to using it, not like a regular flat iron. Tricky but yes, amazingly soft hair!
