I am currently doing a protective styles challenge. My sister big chopped in December and I big chopped this month on the 10th to support my little sister choice to become natural. This challenge started Jan 15th and lasts until Apr 15th. The more the merrier I always say ...Does anyone want to join us in our challenge and then share the results at the end of the challenge. So far I am rocking braided hair extensions below. (any type of protective style is fine)

I am in a 6 month hair challenge but happy to join. I am wearing zillion fake outs and I am committed to wear the style until July.

I am taking Hairfinity vitamins, drinking over 60oz of water a day, and eating plenty of veggies and some protein. I am trying to get up off the couch to exercise because I hear that helps as well.

It's awesome that you are showing your support!

It hasnt even been 1 month since i had my box braids installed and i already have 1 of new growth. I'm Pleased with the progress i decided to included supplements to my regimen. I know many people rave abt hairfinity but
If you look @ the ingredients it has high doses of biotin and msm. I took my behind to walmart and bought Natrol Biotin 10,000mcg, Maximum Strength, 100 Tablets. Hairfinity promises 1 inch a month, u can achieve this w/o taking supplements but if u decide to go that route an off the counter multi vitamin will do the trick. Save your money.

I decided to add biotin bc i miss my strong long nails. I forget what i was doing when they were that healthy (darn). i am a little concerned of the super high dose i may take it a few times a week instead of everyday.

I'd like to join if it isn't too late. I had micro braids from January 13-February 8. I'm planning to start start twisting my hair and leaving them in for a week or two at a time. Are we posting pictures for this challenge and if so how often?
