I slept last night!!! Last night I went to bed at 9:30 and woke up once and went right back to sleep and slept until after 7 this morning!!! I never sleep that much; I have always had horrible insomnia.

Thanks to all the curlies who posted suggestions to help me with my fibromyalgia issues, broken foot, depression and the flu!

Yesterday, my magnesium chloride flakes arrived and I made lotion with them, just a little bit for a "tester" to see if I like the consistency, the feel, etc. I've read that straight magnesium oil can burn or sting and I wanted to avoid that plus I have very dry skin so I mixed 1 oz. boiling water, 1 oz. magnesium chloride flake (by volume) and stirred until the flakes were dissolved then mixed it with 1/2 oz. Curel Ultra Healing Body Lotion and shook until it was all mixed. It makes a very runny lotion, but I do like it. It does not sting at all nor does it leave the powdery white film on my skin like some websites said magnesium oil would do. I covered my arms and legs in it last night - I was too tired to do my torso.

Also, yesterday, my Deproloft Amazon.com: THORNE RESEARCH - Deproloft-HF - 120 caps [Health and Beauty]: Health & Personal Care arrived and I took 2 capsules with supper.

I don't know if it was one or the other or the combination of the two but I woke up feeling rested AND in a good mood, like my dark cloud has blown away :compress:

YAY!! So happy to hear this GC. :D

I need to do exactly what you did and maybe I'd sleep for a change. My tired is tired and I can't remember the last time I slept through the night.

The amount of time from slipping on the peel and landing on the pavement is exactly one bananosecond.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I am tired now but I still feel better than I have in quite awhile even though the flu is still kicking my tuckus. If it weren't for ginger ale and phenergan, I'd be in the hospital by now!!! I know about your tired being tired!!! I am sick and tired of being sick and tired!

I am so hoping I can sleep again tonight!!! Hopefully you can sleep too! Insomnia is the debbil

You ain't kiddin' it's the debbil, I can't remember the last time I slept well. It's exhausting.

There are so many things wrong with me, all these little things that could be symptoms of who knows what that I don't even know where to start. I'm hopeful that one day I'll feel better though, so I definitely haven't given up.

Oh I hope you feel better too! My issues are mostly physical ailments (fibromyalgia, arthritis, broken foot, etc.) but recently I've been fighting depression. When I am suffering from depression I have trouble controlling my obsessive tendencies. Err. More trouble than normal. Like my inability to stop reading and go to sleep. Or stop watching something that I know I can watch another time. And then I cannot shut my brain off and go to sleep or I go to sleep and wake up an hour later with my mind racing and unable to calm it down. So mine is partly self-inflicted.

    :hangs head in shame:

Well, don't hang your head in shame because I do the exact same thing. It's probably why I go through phases of reading and not reading because I just won't put the Kindle down and go to sleep. Maybe it's easier to have an excuse as to why I can't sleep by blaming the book?

I have to get some sleep tonight, so will try really hard to put kindle down. But it's comforting to know I am not the only one!
