Diagnose me

What can I do to get rid of these fuzzies? I am using all curly girl approved products. A cream and a little gel. I hate.the wet look so preferably nothing that makes my hair look wet. I like the soft look. Thanks!

Read up on the thread about sealing with oil. I'd give that a try.

And maybe see how avoiding glycerin, pathenol, sorbitol and honey for a while works out for you.

Great I will look into the oil. :profileright:

Now, avoid glycerin, glycerin, pathenol, sorbitol and honey? I thought I read on a thread here to mix some honey with my conditioner?

Honey is a humectant which can, depending on the weather and the dew point, suck the moisture out of your hair. It's good to mix with conditioner though because it is chalk full of vitamins and does attract moisture. So I think you'd want to do it occasionally in a rinseout. (It is on my to do list; I am just lazy.) It's just iffy to leave it in if you happen to live in an arid climate or are regularly exposed to low dews. If your hair gets dry it will be more prone to frizz.

Something really helpful is to know your hair properties, it helps others help you. Here's a link Live Curly Live Free - Curly Hair Basics Hair properties are the best way to pick ingredients/products. Once you determine your properties, look for others with similar hair and see what they use (in signatures.) It's the best place to start.

It's all about getting the moisture/protein balance right.
