So I think I want to go back to One C, but...

I just have been doing so well with avoiding cones!! Why does this conditioner have to have cones? Also, I don't use low-poo, I co-wash, so I can't remove the cone....what should I do?

OneC only has Amodimethicone in it and Amodimethicone is water soluble which means you don't need to shampoo. I use it and I have never experienced build up.

I have to second that. I only use deva products including no poo and I have no problems.
Hair type, thin, 3b, past my shoulders always looking for length. Use jessicurl hair cleansing cream, devacurl one c, angel, set it free, Always see a deva trained stylist for cut and Aveda Institute for color.

Thanks!! Now I just need a gel to use over it! Angell is not enough hold & [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCare-Arc-AnGell-p-567.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devacare-arc-angell]Arc Angell[/buylink] did not do well in my hair - maybe I need to try that in the summer again.

I agree with the others regarding using One C and co-washing or using No-Poo. It hasn't been a problem for me and it's not like it's high up on the list of ingredients. Have you tried Herbal Essences Set Me Up gel?

A long time ago I did - I just am looking for a gel that will hold all day, but cannot stand that darn crunch!! Everytime I try to "scrunch it out" it gets frizzy. Any tips? I tried the HE totally twisted & that was too light - so I can't win. Also, if I use the One C again, I will probably leave most of it in & put the gel over it. Just trying to get down to two products (conditioner & gel) if possible....As you can tell, I've had it w/ my hair

How many of you use the Devacare vs. the [buylink=http://www.curlmart.com/DevaCurl-One-Condition-p-55.html?utm_source=naturallycurly.com&utm_medium=text-link&utm_content=curltalk-post-text&utm_campaign=devacurl-devacurl-one-condition]Devacurl One C[/buylink]?

Yeah, I didn't care for the HE TT gel either. SMU is the only drugstore gel I've had good luck with, otherwise it's B&A or Abba Weightless for me. Have you tried Aura?

Yes, I've tried Aura - it's been hit & miss, but I have some, so I was thinking of trying it over Once C. Do you think that's a good combo? I would try abba, but I don't want too much volume.

I mix the TT and SMU. That way I get the hold of the SMU with less crunch.

I'm currently comparing the deva curl and care oneC's. I have nothing definitive but my initial impression is that the care coats my hair and I require more for detangling. The deva curl seems to agree with my hair more.

I haven't tried Aura over One C yet, in fact I've only tried it once and didn't have good results so I haven't used it again so far. I like both versions of One C but I do get better slip with regular One C.

I have a small bottle of the DevaCurl, so I'm going to try it tomorrow. Last summer, I was using the DevaCare. My hair has grown a lot since then, so we shall see. Before I invest in the larger bottle, I want to see how my hair reacts. Thanks for the advice - I'll try one of the million gels I have here, then maybe tomorrow or Monday, I'll take a trip & give the HE gels another try.

Thanks - that's a great idea w/ the TT & SMU!!! Plus, they are inexpensive, so it's not as if it's a fortune to do that.
