Tender Patches

Hey everyone!,
I'm 4-5 months into transitioning my hair from relaxed to natural. I'm loving the experience so far but lately I'm starting to notice that certain parts of my scalp feel very tender and almost painful to the touch... I know there's that stuff that people call scab hair but ,I'm really just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what some possible causes for my scalp hurting are...

Thanks,
alykatt

Make sure you are gently combing your hair from the tip and then the middle and then the root. May also want to visit the dermatologist to make sure it is not a scalp condition starting up.

I have heard of this before, I've read that its your hair follicles awaking. I 4ever my scalp being tender and hair to soothe. Try less combing and detangle less often. I would say now is the time to protective styling. It will give your hair time to grow in its less evasive environment. Keep it up girl.. It won't be long, relief is coming!
