Flax seed gel all the way. Google it. But here are my proportions. 2 cups water for 4 tbsp (1/4 cup) flax seeds. I add to it 1 tbsp jojoba oil and 1 tbsp glycerin and 4 -8 drops essential oil like a combination of lemongrass and/or tea tree and/or rosemary.

i absolutely love eco styler blue or pink gel to combat frizz. flax seed gel makes my hair hard. i like mixing it in conditioner for slip but that's it.

don't have 'hand in hair' syndrome. that helps combat frizz too :)
LOIS (OS); cottony, TYPE 4 hair, fine/med strands; no cones bcz my hair hates them; last relaxer '98; now low porosity:?, ignores most natural hair rules; BC #8

I don't. LoL! I can't control it. My hair is just.... I don't know what to say.

But I get pretty good definition with EcoStyler.

I had one small frizzy section of hair in the front. It was about 1" by 1". Anyway I was defining it up until 2 weeks ago with acv rinses occasionally, kccc, fsg or ecostyler gel. Now it's gone. I did an amla treatment 2 weeks ago with great results but because I only left it on for 15 minutes (I was scurred!) I thought I'd get better results redoing it and leaving it in longer. So three days later I did an amla/brahmi treatment. Left in for 1.5 hour. Now the lil frizzy section is no more. It finally looks like the rest of my hair. I strongly recommend these powders if you aren't already using them!

I didn't feel like traveling into the city to an Indian grocer so I ordered from amazon. I have the Hesh brand for both.

I usually use Aubrey Organics Mandarin magic jelly or Aubrey Organics b5 gel but I found a product that I'm in love with even more.... Suncoat, Natural Hair Calming Serum, that's some good stuff right there!!!

I currently like thick conditioners to wear my hair in a non straightened state. I can't stand gels anymore so i find that a thick conditioner with the right ingredients can keep the frizzies away, can be reactivated easily with water, and can be easily washed out with out needing shampoo.

My current favorite product is novex recovering mix. It's actually a DC but as a leave in it makes my hair shiny, gives me maximum wave defintiion and smells very nice. Tresmemme naturals also works quite well but i dont like the smell on my head all day!
