I had bought the gel around Thanksgiving and it's been sitting around in my room doing nothing so i decided to use it today! Finally!.
I Mixed it with a little olive and coconut oil as well as Curls Unleashed by Organix. I know, i know, it has cones in it but it hasn't affected my hair that badly. My mother and i (i have you know that i'm still in school,) tried to define my curls .:afro: These are the results. How do you use your eco styler and how do you like it?

Oh yeah and what hair type do you think i have from my try at defining my curls?

First Pic: eco styler gel
Second: Comparison: only water
:cherry:Curls: 3c/4a I can't distinguish between the two!!!!!!
Shampoo: Mizani, Bed Head Control Freak, Pert(mixed with water)
Conditioner: Mizani, Bed Head, Aura Moisturizing conditioner
Gels: Eco Styler Krystal

Curl Defining Products: Curls Unleashed
Leave-in: Conditioner mixed with water and EVOO, it's a 10.
Oils: Tea Tree, EVOO, OO, Coconut oil

Love your hair it's so pretty :)

I haven't used Eco Styler (not a fan of gels at all) but thought about giving the Krystal brand a try.

From looking at your pictures, your hair looks a lot like mine when its wet and some people say I'm 4b and a lot say I'm 4a. Hair typing is so confusing I only go by the standard straight, wavy, curly, kinky. No need to add any extra categories.

PS: From what I hear its best to type hair when its naked (no product in it at all)

8-)Hey, I tweet about my hair journey too along with other things

    :tongue7:Oh, and my tumblr

You're welcome and hope you have a happy new year as well.

PS. Now that I'm looking at your pics again, your hair is nearly identical to mine when wet and with product. We may be hair twins :)

Defining your cutoff may need more for 4b hair and silicones make it harder to define and look actually nice. Try kinky curly gel or 4naturals defining curl cream

I swear by Eco Krystal. I layer it over Beautiful Textures Leave-in Conditioner. Once dry, I smooth Vatika Oil throughout my hair. If you'd like, check out my review and results at mycurlymane.com.

Ecostyler krystal has become my favorite ecostyler, before then it was the olive oil one, anyways I love the results I get when I mix it with beautiful textures moisture butter or shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie to do my twistouts, they come out so soft and stay moisturized for days.

I recently bought Beautiful Textures Leave-in at a all natural grocery store (weird huh?) and the shampoo and i love it! However, Ecostyler Krystal does make my hair very stiff. I think that's because my hair does not like protein. It does define the curls.

I love your hair, it's so pretty. I can never get my curls to lay down that flat, unless i put gallons of gel on it.

I like the gel. I've only ever used it for twist outs (I don't think most people use it for that, but Idc). Maybe I'll wear a wash n go w/ it one day, but I don't like wngs. I only wear them when I accidentally leave all my products at home like right now, although I decided to put my hair in twists today, they don't look neat like when I use eco styler gel.
