Are type 3 curlies the only curlies getting attention from guys?

Hey i'm a type 4 curly( 4b/4c) and it has come to my attention that type 4 curlies dont get as much attention as type 3 curlies. For example i went to a football with a friend and i had my fro out and only a few guys looked at me and they werent looking at my face.... -_-. but when i went to another football game sometime later i had a weave that reassembled 3b hair and all the guys were flocking to me o.0 .........
Is it just me or do type 3 curlies get the most guys and if your a type 4 curly how do you overcome this???

    Hey akinyi,

Girl, all I can say is if a guy doesn't really go for the aesthetic of type 4 hair, then what are we doing trying to get his attention??? lol

Yes, sometimes it can feel like looser curls get all the love. But as long as you know your hair is beautiful in all it's afro-y glory, then it shouldn't matter! We crave that positive reinforcement and it sucks that sometimes we don't get it. It can be frustrating at times, but just know that there are people out there who will appreciate you just the way you are.

Then you'll be coming on here telling us how a cute guy won't stop touching your fro. LOL

    Hello akinyi :)

I'm 3C and 4A so I have both textures throughout my hair. If a guy is judging you because of your hair there is no reason as to why you should feel bad or hurt. Overcome it by finding friends that don't judge by hair texture. Personally I've been finally wearing my huge hair in all of it's glory and I've been getting compliments all over and even when I don't, it doesn't matter. As long as you are happy with your hair then that should be enough. The guy that takes the time to know you first and foremost and then your hair will become a guy worth having for life (As a friend or more ;))

Every person has their preferences for the other gender's appearance, including hair. There are tons of great guys out there that love your texture, maybe you just haven't met any yet (which is unfortunate), but there will be someone who not only accepts, but LOVES your natural hair :)
