Mostly 3c and lovin' my curls

This is not a fashion trend, it's not a statement, it's pride for who we are and what we look like. And that is where our true beauty shines.

Wow! That is brilliant! You are a beautiful lady!
My hair doesn't seem to grow past my bra strap. It seems to me that it has been this length since I was about 8. I can cut it regularly (and have done - to shoulder length) but when it grows back it stops at my bra strap :-(

Check your ends, do you see any breakage? Split ends? Maybe try keeping your hair/ends covered for a period of time to see if that does the trick. Keep a balance of deep conditioning, moisture and protein treatments going.

I must be less lazy and start using treatments :-(
I trim regularly - every 6 weeks. Maybe too regularly!!!

Depends on how much you are taking off. Hair grows about .5'' - 1'' a month, so if your hair grows about 1'' every 6 weeks and that's how much you are trimming, you won't see much growth! If you are growing your hair out you want to space out your trimming and really protect your ends so you don't need to trim that much. There are some women who don't trim at all, but they keep their ends covered 24/7 practically.

I used Sheamoisture (moisturizers), aubrey organics honeysuckle conditioner and Yes to cucumbers and basically anything 100% natural. Since coming to China I've had to switch it up a bit~~but there are natural conditioners here they are just very expensive. Also I use coconut oil for my ends.
