Hi friends,

I'm Vietnamese (born in US) and I've had crazy, frizzy hair since I was 15. I'm 36 now and six months ago decided to stop straightening because my hair's been falling out. I've tried every product and technique recommended and now I'm on Deva Curl. It's only been a week but I'm hopeful because my hair feels so light and bouncy. I did discover this summer that my hair HATES Aveda products. I think my hair is 2b but I can get it 2c. Everyone keeps asking me if I've gotten a perm. My reply is no, Im just trying to figure out my crazy hair. I feel like the only asian on earth without straight hair. Please let me know there are others out there!

    Welcome! :)

I live in Japan right now and while most people here do have straight hair, I have seen some Japanese people with 2B, 2C and 3A hair.
