Good websites to order from (in Europe)

This week I discovered www.curlychocolate.com (situated in Hamburg-Germany) and the customer service has been really nice so far! I sent them a mail asking about some ingredients on a product and they replied really fast and very politely :)

I guess that all in all I have exchanged about 10 mails with them, and in one of them I wrote that it really is a pity that they charge so much for shipping - and they made me an amazing offer and were willing to reduce the shipping prices because i ordered a lot.

What are your recomendations (and where are they situated)? I' looking forward for your answers :love2:

I a still waiting for my products to arrive, but i have no doubt that shipping will work fine.
But I'll update the post as soon as i receive them and will let you know how long they had me waiting

I'm not used to getting any unpaid goodies so i'm really happy about them. Normally companies will send you exactly what you ordered - so i absolutely wasn't expecting this :)

I'm definitely gonna stick with them when it comes doen to hairproducts!

    Thanks

Stay away from the (house brand) oils though...
I opened a thread about their grapeseed oil - take a look at it if you'd like :)

The products are great, but their homemade stuff sucks!

Tell me how it went for you.

Btw, free shipping until the 6.1.2013 ;)

These stores have quite a selection:

    British Curlies Curly Emporium

Hairproducts for Afro and curly hair - buy online - Mariposa Import

I haven´t bought anything from them though, maybe someone else can weigh in...

I've ordered twice from British Curlies Emporium. Shipping is very fast and everything went very smoothly. With their shipping costs (to mainland Europe) it's worth ordering a bit more as there's very little, if any différence with 1 or 5 bottles... All in all, I've been à happy customer. :)

I ordered from Mariposa twice (I'm a Dutch curly) and the service was nice. Got a quick reply on my question when I sent them an email. Delivery services were really fast (got my order the next day). I do have to say that they weren't as quick the second time due to the owner having health problems at the moment, but usually they ship fast :-)

British Curlies Emporium is a very nice webshop. I ordered from them and I had the products within four days (I live in the Netherlands) and the shipping costs were 12 pounds, but I shared it with my cousins.

I ordered products from British Curlies (Curly Emporium). They arrived quickly (and I got a gift from them too and that gift was really good).
Customer Service is really nice too.
Things I use: Olive Oil, Canola oil, rosemary oil, aloe vera gel, shea butter, mayonnaise, eggs, milk, bananas

Everything I use is 100% natural. I make most of them myself because then I'm sure what's in it and I'm sure nothing's added, it's pure, it's natural.

Things I avoid: Mineral oil (codename: Baby oil), heat (I'm a total, no hair driers, no straighteners, no curling irons, no flat irons, no hot combs...nada), sodium chloride

Growing plan: At least 6 inches longer in a year.

How much did you pay for shipping, SammySingally? I read that Krullenbol paid 12 pounds. I'm asking because I want to get the Shea Moisture Curling Soufflé, but 12 pounds is quite a lot for a product that doesn't even cost that much on its own.

@Laura shea moisture kan je ook in Nl bestellen.. Curls of nature verkoopt de hele lijn

Thanks Anita! I discovered that website recently but I'm thinking SM Soufflé might be too heavy for me after all, so not sure I will order.

As I was searching for particular products, I stumbled upon some more Dutch webshops, of which some ship internationally. I haven't tried any of them yet.

Why is Curl Junkie so hard to find? I am dying to get some Curl Rehab in Germany after I finally tried a sample last week, and had the most miraculous fourth(!!)-day hair ever.

Mariposa and Curls of Nature are sold out and I don't know about paying the shipping for Curly Emporium, either. But I might, since I'm impatient by nature and I want those fourth-day curls back asap!
2c, med-coarse, dense, high-med elasticity and still working out my porosity. Living in hard-water Germany.

Still learning the HGs. Latest faves:
Washing with KC Come Clean or CJ Daily Fix
Conditioner Deva OneC, Darcy's Pumpkin Seed
    Goin' Deep: CJ Curl Rehab
Loving a good prepoo with coconut oil
Styling with CJ CCCC Lite, KCCC, BRHG, and a spray gel (Fructis, JC Gelebration)

Second-third-day savers: Curl Fuel overnight and KCSS in the morning!

I thought CJ is temporarily out of order because of some massive re-labelling thing going on. Do they really do not ship at all anymore?

I just placed an order with locken-idol.com and though their website has been telling me that nearly all the products I wanted to order were out of stock, when i pressed the "checkout and pay" button they let me proceed. I just transfered about 80€ to their bankaccount ...let's see if they'll get back to me tomorrow telling me that unfortunately i'll have to wait for a few weeks until my placed order can be fully sent to me or if they actually do have everything on stock and just forgot to update theis system. I really hope for the latter since i'm completely out of my good stuff and don't think i can handle one more bad hair day :sad5:

good luck CurlyB_ , I love Locken-Idol - Haar-Kosmetik für Locken und Krausköpfe:blob8:. I buy all my products there, they are soooo nice and the shipping is not expensive. normally if the product is not available they will refund the money back as far I know. So dont worry :toothy4: Perhaps you should look at curlyemporium.
  • CurlyB_CurlyB_ Posts: 126Registered Users
Yeah, today they sent me a mail asking about my bank account information so they can refund me :( sadly they were the only shop i know that were still selling the bee mine luscious creme and their deep treatment. I think they didn't get the permission for shipping into EU after a law change concerning cosmetics a few weeks ago, so no one is selling their stuff anymore. It's a shame! Their creme has been the best working for me so far, but there's no way i'm gonna pay $50 for shipment on the original bee mine site for having it sent to me.

Has anyone heard about mariposa import? The site hasn't been online for quite a few months and I noticed Lori doesn't respond to any facebook messages anymore..Hope she's okay.
