Protein spray recs, please!

Hoping to find one to help for refreshing. Would help if it had some moisturize qualities, as well.

My hair LOOOVES protein, but it's porous so by day 2 it's lost a good deal of moisture.

Anything goes - my preference is drugstore, but I'm open to homemade, online order, etc. Just need ideas and recs! Thx!!

Oh... Has anyone diluted gelatin? What about dilluting FSG (that has added protein) and using that?

Aphogee has a protein spray. I have taken the colorful neutral protein filler and added it to water and a little conditioner for a refreshing spray. You can mix whatever you want together. Really cheap too.

Giovanni has a protein spray. I haven't tried it but I saw it at Whole foods today and am really curious to know if its any good.

    Thanks for the replies!

I have CNPF. The only issue with diluting that is that it then goes bad. (Of course that's the same with gelatin or FSG). Wonder if I could use undiluted? Or maybe mixed with some condish?

I used to use Redken Cat years ago, and i THINK it might be CG, even.

What is the Giovanni one called? I can't seem to find it anywhere. The only ones I saw were a hairspray and a flat iron spray. Is it one of those?

Sorry, I was wrong, its not a spray, its a cream. Its Giovanni smooth as silk xtreme protein hair infusion. I tried to attach a photo. Hope its not too small!

Last summer I received a little sample bottle from CurlMart called Spiral Solutions Strength & Shine Leave-in Protein Spray and it was fantastic! (I saved the bottle so I don't forget the name of it). I haven't been able to find it again, though. It was so gentle and unlike any other protein product I've ever encountered. I had some dry, tangly ends, and it got rid of them! I'll let you know if I find it again.

Sally's has one called Beyond the Zone Protein Cocktail, $6.99 for 8 oz. bottle. I've never used it, but it looks like it would be excellent.

Sally's also has: ApHogee Keratin and Green Tea Restructurizer, Ion Volume Booster, Beyond the Zone Noodle Head Curl Boosting Spray, and Shea Moisture Hold & Shine Moisture Mist. Of these I use the Noodle Head and the Shea Moisture, but I haven't tried the others.

I think Deva Mist-er Right has proteins as well, but I'm not sure. (I love the smell of it).

Even though my hair can be very sensitive to proteins in cleansers and conditioners (esp. deep conditioners), Ouidad Botanical Boost is my very favorite refresher spray, and it contains proteins. I'm going to hunt down that Spiral Solutions one...what a great product.
