Tresseme Naturals: Yay or Nay

I know this has probably been beat to death but inquiring minds want to know. Would you recommend Tresemme as a cowash? If so what brand? If not what would you recommend?

Yes it is a good Cowash Condioner. Others include V05 milk conditioner (strawberry or passion fruit) and Trader Joe Tea tree Tingle Conditioner.

I love tresemme natural's moisturizing conditioner.
I also really like hello hydration moisturizing conditioner.

The first i believe ( not 100% sure) is CG friendly while the second is not.
I use them both as leave-ins because the are very light yet moisturizing and don't weigh my hair down.

I'm wondering this too. I'm looking for a good, cheap condition I can buy at any store and comes in a big bottle. I tried Vo5 and Suave. They were just "ok", but I want better so I'm going to try Tresemme and Aussie Moist. I actually owned Herbal Essences Hello Hydration before I started reading into ingredients, but I then read that silicones are bad for you so I immediately threw it away. Now all I ever hear is every natural talking about how much they love it -_____-

I understand so well! I actually bought HEHH based on reviews. I think its great and the detangling properties are really cool. The thing is its getting cold and I'm experimenting at the moment with going completely CG. That means not using shampoo which means I cant use silicones. Ill give it the old college try since I've heard so much about it. Ill co wash for a month or two then use a sulfate free shampoo if my hair feels like it has too much buildup. Geronimo! (However I'm not throwing away my HEHH. It is a life saver and a situation solver. *clutches to chest*)

I think its pretty good to cowash with. my only gripe about it is that i dont really like the smell! i wish they kept the regular scent of the tresemme condtioners when they made the naturals line.

I am now not too crazy about it. The smell is blah and the detangling is average. For me the best detangling inexpensive Cowash conditioner is
Trader's Joe Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner.

For me, the Tresemme Naturals nourishing moisture is a great co-wash and leave in. Cheap too!

    texture - medium/fine, porosity - low/normal, elasticity - normal
co-wash - NaturelleGrow Coconut Water or Marshmallow Root, Slippery Elm Bark & Blue Malva Cleansing Conditioners
    LI - KCKT mixed w/ SM C & H Curl & Style Milk
DC - NG Mango & Coconut H2O or Chamomile/Brdck Root
Gel - SM souffle (winter), KCCC (summer) or CR Naturals Aloe Whipped Butter Gel (year round)
Sealers - Virgin Coconut Oil, Avocado butter, Aloe butter
Ayurvedic treatments - Jamila Henna, Sukesh, Aloe Vera Powder, Hibiscus Powder

    Yay.

Good rinse out/leave in. Pretty okay for regular general detangling.

If I needed an intense detangling moment I'd use something with more slip personally.

I love my Tresemme Naturals as a Co-wash, its pretty moisturizing for a co wash though. I'm using Vo5 as my cowash right now because its more lighter, and I follow up with Tresemme after as it has more moisture, you can also mix it with oils as DT and it awesome. It's great for multitasking and leave-ins. The smell is awesome too.

I really like Tresseme as a co-wash but I prefer it as rinse out especially the naturals one with keratin and veggie protein. I feel like V05 conditioners are cheaper and get my scalp and hair cleaner!

I would say nay for the smell alone. I couldn't stand that smell! As for a conditioner, it was ok. But it's been about a year + since using it, so things may have changed. If I ever co-washed again, I might look into it.
