Family Recipes

During the holidays making old family recipes makes me feel closer to those who have passed on. And it makes me thankful and blessed to have had them in my life for the time i did. I plan to make my granddaddy's 7up pound cake recipe, grandma's homemade banana pudding and my greatgrandmother's recipe for sweet bread.

What are you guys making in honot of someone special this Thanksgiving?
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:

I'm not making anything in honor but I will spend this Thanksgiving with my friend and her family so I will be bringing oxtails.

Her family is mainly american so my dish will be the only island flair.

Sure. It is more labor intensive than the mix but well worth it.
